It’s that time of year again! From July 8th-July 18th you can experience the heart of Cow-town at the world renowned Stampede Grounds which are located on 1410 Olympic Way SE The gates open at 9:00 AM, and all rides, games, indoor attractions and such are in full effect by 11AM. If you hate long line-ups I suggest you go there a bit earlier. For those of you who are more interested in free entertainment can stop by the Stephen Avenue stage (located on Stephen Avenue Walk) during your lunch hour this summer and enjoy some free live performances. Previously, there has been a range of different acts on these stages including pop performances, dance troupes, rock bands, and comedians. A few performers scheduled to appear this summer include Winnie Lung, Northern Beauties and Johnny Summers Quartet. So if you’re all about that free life definitely swing by and check that out. This event occurs weekly, on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from dates July 10th-August 31st.
On Saturday September 10th 2016 you’re invited to come out to University way and enjoy the popular “Circle the Wagon’s” festival, which offers a delightful variety of great food, delicious beer, and awesome tunes.
